Blast dampers UZS and MZS for civil defense shelters
Blast dampers UZS and MZS protect air intake and exhaust openings of shelter ventilation system from blast waves, protecting people and equipment from their destructive effects
Small-sized protective section (damper) MZS and unified protective section UZS-1 (UZS-8, UZS-25) serve to protect ventilation devices of special purpose buildings from the impact of a air blast wave of long duration with a pressure from 0.3 to 10 kg/cm² (0.3- 10 bar).
Protective sections automatically, under the influence of a shock wave, cover ventilation shafts or air ducts and provide protection against the penetration of an air blast wave into the shelter.
Protective sections can be installed independently or in special adapter boxes (MZ-2, UZ-3 and others).
